We use various software applications for this and are constantly testing new equipment so that you can be certain that we can assist you with every language. We are therefore able to work with virtually all current formats, including:
Please do not hesitate to send us a file as an example if you wish to convert a different file format. DVD subtitle filesWe can supply subtitle files that are compatible with current authoring systems.
Digital cinemaWe are now able to convert all standard subtitle files into a special format that is compatible with the CineCanvas format (.xml). Standard and High Definition video subtitling (SD and HD)It is also possible to subtitle the programme on tape (burn-in subtitling). We use a digital character generator for this. You chose from a number of different fonts, colours and boxes and also choose between an outline or a drop shadow. We can reproduce fonts from Latin, Cyrillic, Semitic and Asian languages and we work both in PAL and in NTSC. It goes without saying that as pioneers on the Belgian market we are the first to offer subtitles in HD. We are able to work with all tape formats. Laser subtitlingWe are able to supply 35 mm positive subtitled copies. For this we use video subtitle files, which we first convert. Closed captioning (PAL or NTSC)We are also able to provide subtitles for teletext and closed captioning (also Line 21 USA). This information can be saved in the VBI lines on the tape. Another possibility is supplying the information in an electronic file format. Voice-over, dubbing and audio descriptionWe work closely together with a sound studio, located in the same building as ourselves, for the recording of audio descriptions and dubbing- and voice-over translations. |
